Dr. Lawrence Lipton

Dr. Lawrence Lipton has a long and influential career in pediatric dentistry. He graduated from Tufts University in 1972, finishing his pediatric specialty training in 1974. That same year, Dr. Lipton started his first dental practice in Bridgeport, CT. A decade later, Dr. Lipton opened his second location in Fairfield and continues to serve both communities.

Professionally, Dr. Lipton has been active in organized dentistry for over 50 years. He has served as president of the Connecticut State Dental Association, has served in numerous board and committee roles with the American dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Lipton also holds Fellowships in all the major dental honor societies.

As an expert in the field of pediatric dentistry, Dr. Lipton handles referrals from many dentists throughout Connecticut and is often called to help with more involved cases from fellow pediatric dentists in the area. Dr. Lipton has been a dental pioneer in the both Connecticut and the Nation. His practice was the first pediatric dental office to offer hard tissue laser for dental restorative procedures. He was instrumental in having Fluoride varnish approved as a procedure for dentistry – now a common, standard practice.

Dr. Lipton is proud to now serve three generations of families in the Fairfield and Bridgeport communities.
